Borderlands 2 Launch Date Trailer

This morning Gearbox Software surprised me with not only a new trailer, but a launch date, as well: September 18^th for North America and September 21^st for the rest of the world. The trailer also drops some new details on the game, including the new playable characters (Salvador, Maya, Axton, and Zero), over “87 bazillion” guns, 96.5% more “WUB WUB”, and the return of the awesomely fantastic 4-player co-op that defined Borderlands 1.

The trailer also dropped a few details on pre-order bonuses. Pre-ordering from Amazon.com or Gamestop will get you into the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club, which gets you access to the Golden Key, the Vault Hunter’s Relic, and the Gearbox Gunpack (more details here).

I’m sure there are more goodies hidden in this trailer, like some of Maya’s talent trees and the new ridiculously awesome guns, but I’ll leave you guys to pick through it on your own.
